LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Network Technology Plc. said its March-year
pretax profit was 105,000 pounds, from the year earlier period's 96,000 pounds,
as it booked lower revenue, cost of sales and other operating expenses.
Network Technology said at end-June it had firm orders of $0.4 million for
delivery within the next 24 months.
The company's revenue was 2.19 million pounds, from 2.47 million, due to a
sharp decrease in legacy Token Ring and Twinax products, which was partially
offset by increased sales of FollowMe and Access Control product lines.
Network Technology booked cost of sales at 667,000 pounds, from 723,000
pounds, while other operating expenses totaled 1.39 million pounds, from 1.62
million.
