Couteau joins from NXP Semiconductor (Philips) where he was Senior Director of Strategic Marketing for the Connected Entertainment business focusing on Bluetooth, FM, USB, UWB, Multimedia and power management products for cellular phones and portable applications. He managed product portfolios, roadmaps, standardization activities, and engagements with external partners and industry groups.
Couteau joined Philips Semiconductor in 1993 and held various marketing and general management positions to drive innovation in high-growth businesses such as Wi-Fi, emerging connectivity technologies like UWB as well as the hard disk drive business.
Couteau has a Master of Business Administration from Lyon School of Management (France), an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, France (including one year at McGill University in Montreal, Canada), and is fluent in English and French.
