CHICAGO, July 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Navy Pier, Inc. is proud to be a destination for the 4th of July celebration in our city. However, we have reached parking capacity at the Navy Pier parking facilities which have been closed effective at 1:40 p.m. There will be no more vehicles allowed on-site at Navy Pier for parking. We recommend guests utilize public transportation or park at one of Navy Pier's three partner parking garages that are offering a discounted parking rate of $15 for up to 12 hours:

  • Grand Plaza Self Park (540 N. State) – enter  from Grand or Ohio Streets
    • Board the Navy Pier Trolley from the west side of State Street between Grand and Illinois or on Illinois just east of State.  The trolley runs from 10 a.m. – 1 a.m. 
      • Do not pay in advance for parking at the garage. Guests are to bring their parking ticket with them and present it at the Navy Pier Guest Services table inside the tent in north Polk Bros Park to receive the $15 special parking rate.
  • Ogden Plaza Self Park (300 E. North Water St.) – from Illinois Street turn right on New Street or McClurg and turn right on E. North Water
    • Board the Navy Pier Trolley on Illinois Street at McClurg or walk four blocks east on Illinois to Navy Pier. The trolley runs from 10 a.m.1 a.m.
      • Do not pay in advance for parking at the garage. Guests are to bring their parking ticket with them and present it at the Navy Pier Guest Services table inside the tent in north Polk Bros Park to receive the $15 special parking rate.
  • Millennium Lakeside Garage (5 S. Columbus) – on Columbus between Monroe and Randolph
    • Board the Navy Pier Trolley from East Randolph Street.  Look for signs that will provide further direction after parking.  The trolley runs from 10 a.m.1 a.m.
      • Do not pay in advance for parking at the garage. Guests will receive validation as they exit the Navy Pier Trolley upon their return to the Lakeside Garage. Validation will be given only at Millennium Lakeside Garage.
