LONDON -(Dow Jones)- U.K. natural gas grid operator National Grid PLC (NGG) said the Mourad Didouche liquefied natural gas ship berthed at its Isle of Grain regassification terminal in Kent, southern England, on Monday.
A second LNG vessel, the Berge Arzew, berthed Sunday, it said.
The Isle of Grain terminal is able to import 9.8 million metric tons of LNG a year.
U.K.-based oil and gas major BP PLC (BP), state-owned Algerian energy company Sonatrach, U.K. utility Centrica PLC (CNA.LN) and French utility GDF-Suez SA (GSZ.FR) are the capacity holders at the terminal.
