LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Narborough Plantations Plc. posted a higher
first-half pretax profit on a 77 percent increase in revenues, arising from
buoyant crude palm oil prices and higher yield.
The company's pretax profit for the six months to June 30 rose to 508,306
pounds against 320,659 pounds last year while revenues soared to 784,190 pounds
from 407,212 pounds last year.
The company said it expects the current financial year to be satisfactory.
