NI Technology Updates Outlooks for AT&T, Comcast, Verizon, eBay, and Google

PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Next Inning Technology Research (http://www.nextinning.com/), an online investment newsletter focused on semiconductor and technology stocks, announced it has updated outlooks for AT&T (NYSE:T), Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSANASDAQ:CMCSK), Verizon (NYSE:VZ), eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG).

Service providers like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon are sitting staunchly on one side while Internet and VoIP companies like eBay, Google and Vonage dig their trenches on the other. The battle? Another round of network neutrality debates.

As editor Paul McWilliams notes, what investors need to know is that if they pick the wrong side, they're actually going to be fighting against their own interests not only as investors, but also as broadband consumers.

With the October earnings season just around the corner, McWilliams has begun publishing his special "State of Tech" reports. In this series of reports, readers will find detailed data covering the sector leaders, commentary about sector trends and specific calls as to which stocks McWilliams thinks readers should buy and which he thinks they should sell.

To read the State of Tech reports and have full access to the Next Inning web site as well as a direct feed to McWilliams' frequent investment ideas that have yielded a year-to-date return of 68% for the NI Portfolio, please visit the following link:

McWilliams covers these topics and more in his State of Tech report:

-- What are the five network neutrality principles presented by FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski on September 21st that both sides of the debate can easily embrace?

-- What is the one network neutrality principle that could cause battle lines to firm and become a detriment to competition and broadband expansion?

-- Why is it that companies like Google and eBay really want to promote what they term as network neutrality?

-- What aspects of the last Senate network neutrality bill have even strong network neutrality proponents come to realize were bad for small businesses and consumers?

Founded in September 2002, Next Inning's model portfolio has returned 224% since its inception versus 18% for the S&P 500.
