INDIANAPOLIS, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- HCC Medical Insurance Services, LLC is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2009, MultiNational Underwriters, LLC (MNU) has adopted the HCC name to operate as HCC Medical Insurance Services (HCCMIS). HCCMIS underwrites on behalf of HCC Life Insurance Company and Lloyd's Syndicate 4141.
Since its inception as MultiNational Underwriters in 1998, MNU has been a recognized leader in the field of international medical insurance. The Company's principal focus has been to provide insurance products to individuals and groups living, working and traveling outside their home countries. In late 2007, MNU added a domestic short term medical plan to its portfolio.
