after the post-secondary education company's higher fourth-quarter profit and
2008 earnings outlook offered evidence that students are staying in school in a
tight job market.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of software maker F5 Networks Inc. skyrocketed
Thursday afternoon after the company reported better first-quarter results than
many investors expected, and a Robert W. Baird & Co. analyst upgraded the stock
based on its low valuation.

drilling contractor said its profit jumped 74 percent last quarter.

Associated Press quoted an analyst who erroneously said the Food and Drug
Administration required the company to run an additional study on its drug
telaprevir. Such a study was not required.
