BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - Mobile telecoms group Mobistar SA. will
launch the iPhone 3G in Belgium from Friday, according to Belgian media reports.
Mobistar entered into an agreement with Apple Inc. and Orange in May, with
the aim of bringing the iPhone to the Belgian market.
At 12.01 a.m. on Friday the first 250 models will be sold in the Mobistar
Centre in Brussels. Customers will be limited to one phone each.
Two versions of the iPhone 3G will be offered -- 8 GB in black for 525 euros
and 16 GB in black or white for 615 euros.
