LAFAYETTE, La., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of MidSouth Bancorp, Inc. (AMEX:MSL) announced today a cash dividend was declared in the amount of six cents ($.06) per share to be paid on its common stock on January 2, 2007 to shareholders of record on December 14, 2006. It is the intention of the Board to continue to pay these cash dividends on a quarterly basis.
Additionally, the Board approved the payment of an additional Special Dividend of three cents ($.03) per share to be paid on its common stock on January 2, 2007 to shareholders of record as of December 14, 2006. This will result in a total of nine cents ($.09) per share to be paid to shareholders on January 2, 2007.
