LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Mentor Graphics Corp. said it has extended its
104 pence per share cash offer for simulation software company Flomerics Group
Plc. to July 2.
Valid acceptances had been received in respect of 503,164 Flomerics shares,
representing about 2.19 percent of the issued share capital, Mentor Graphics
said.
On June 17, Mentor Graphics said it rejected the unsolicited takeover
proposal from Cadence Design Systems Inc. and has concluded that the $16 per
share price is "insufficient" to support a transaction.
