STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Swedish pharmaceutical company Meda said Monday its partner Valeant Pharmaceuticals has completed the New Drug Application and Marketing Authorisation Application for epilepsy treatment Retigabine on Oct. 30.
MAIN FACTS:
-Meda is entitled to receive significant royalties and certain milestone payments on the Retigabine substance.
-GlaxoSmithKline has signed a worldwide collaboration agreement with Valeant Pharmaceuticals for Retigabine.
