COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Max & Erma's is going international . . . at least for the summer.
The traditional American restaurant is introducing a beyond-the-borders menu for the summer months. The Passport to International Adventure will feature items from six different countries.
In addition to the limited-time menu items, Max & Erma's (NASDAQ:MAXE) is giving guests an opportunity to visit a country of their choice with the Get Away Giveaway contest, which features six, $6,000 American Express gift card grand prizes. Each guest purchasing any Passport to International Adventure menu item will have the opportunity to participate in this web-based contest.
The contest, which is sponsored by Coca-Cola, includes additional prizes such as Ipods, Max & Erma's promotional cards, and Coca-Cola beverages.
"Our research shows that consumers are interested in seeing ethnic foods on the menu and our new selections bring spice, flavor and excitement to the table," said Erin Reckner, Senior Director of Marketing for Max & Erma's. "On top of the new menu items, the interactive contest will be great fun and every participant will win some sort of prize."
