LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Marks & Spencer Group is considering selling
other brands such as Chanel and Heinz, the Sunday Telegraph reported, based on
an interview with the retailer's chief executive, Stuart Rose.
M&S is to announce whether it will begin selling other brands at its
full-year results in May, the paper said.
Rose told the Sunday Telegraph that a management team in London was studying
the initiative.
"Provided it doesn't bring the [M&S] brand into disrepute, we will consider
it," Rose told the Sunday Telegraph.
