Pitney Bowes (NYSE:PBI), a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce, today announced two leadership appointments within its Software Solutions business.

Mark Taylor has joined Pitney Bowes as Senior Vice President of Software Channels, Software Solutions reporting to Bob Guidotti, Executive Vice President and President, Software Solutions. Mark will have global responsibility over the Software Solutions partner organization and will grow the business through indirect sales.

Jeff Winter has joined Pitney Bowes as Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Software Solutions reporting to Abby Kohnstamm, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Jeff will have global responsibility over the entire marketing value chain - ranging from market awareness to demand generation to deal closure - and will grow the business through the execution of integrated marketing campaigns.

“We are investing in our business as we expand the sale of our solutions to new markets and territories,” said Bob Guidotti. “We brought in two seasoned executives to our team so that we could fulfill two important goals: growing out our channel strategy and increasing the visibility of our newly launched solutions. I will look to Mark and Jeff’s leadership to gain traction in these priority spaces in the coming year.”

Pitney Bowes is rolling out a new suite of vertical solutions in 2016 designed to address data-driven business challenges shared by clients across various industries. Last week, the company launched its inaugural software solution, Single Customer View, a solution designed to help organizations enhance and deepen their understanding of customers in the Digital Era. Built on the company’s leading customer engagement, location intelligence and data quality technologies, Pitney Bowes’ software solutions use analytics to help clients unlock hidden business and revenue potential.

Mark Taylor comes to Pitney Bowes from Arrow Electronics, where he most recently served as President, Global OEM Computing Solutions. With 30 years of experience, Mark has had proven success in driving revenue growth through sales channels and strategic partnerships. Mark will help Pitney Bowes build out a portfolio of software partners, as well as help the company pursue new business models, such as Software-as-a-Service and cloud computing.

Jeff joins Pitney Bowes from SAP where he most recently served as the Vice President, Platform Marketing in North America. Jeff also served in leadership roles within product marketing, field marketing, channel marketing, and built an Account Based Marketing program. Prior to SAP, Jeff had various marketing and strategy roles within IBM’s Global Services division. At Pitney Bowes, Jeff will help drive market awareness of Pitney Bowes’ software solutions capabilities as well as drive demand through the design and execution of vertically-focused programs and initiatives.
