Malaysian Ringgit Rises To Near 5-week High Against U.S. Dollar

The Malaysian ringgit strengthened against the U.S. dollar in
the late Asian session on Wednesday, as crude oil prices extended
its rally amid concerns that the conflict in Syria will
escalate.
Turkey has downed a Russia jet it claims was violating its
airspace near Syria. Russian strongman Vladimir Putin said Turkey
is now "accomplices to terrorists."
Against the greenback, the ringgit rose to nearly a 5-week high
of 4.2005 from an early low of 4.2050. At yesterday's close, the
ringgit was trading at 4.2420 against the greenback.
If the ringgit extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around the 4.10 area.
