MARKET OVERVIEW Overseas markets seem to be holding fairly close to their respective flat- line
values as double-digit gains or losses are hard to find. Currently nine of the
15 markets that we track are positive. The cumulative average return on the
group stands at a positive 0.248 percent. Our friends north of the border -
Canada experienced only a slight inflation up-tick at consumer level in
November. The November Consumer Price core index (the "all-items index" less
eight volatile components) was higher by 1.8 percent on a year-over-year basis,
matching October's increase. Analysts were expecting a 1.7 percent rise. The
core index on a month-over-month basis rose by 0.2 percent, also matching
October's rise.
