MARKET OVERVIEW Overseas markets are displaying a mixed picture this morning. European markets
are bullish with the FTSE, CAC and DAX in the green. The FTSE is currently up
0.21% led by drug and telecom sectors. However any exuberance is controlled as
most traders chose to be cautious ahead of the publication of the US monthly
job report. Asian markets are decidedly bearish with the Nikkei being the only
market in the green up 0.93%. The BSE Sensex closed down 5.67 points as traders
moved to capture profits ahead of the weekend.
Futures were considerably higher last night after Intel increased fourth-
quarter revenue estimates. But that is very likely to change because at 8:30
a.m. we have non-farm payrolls and the unemployment rate for November. Estimates are currently looking for about 200,000 jobs to be added and the
unemployment rate to fall to 5.4-percent. Should this come in positive, expect
a huge gap higher or should it disappoint, the two could cancel each other out. On the earnings front, there are no major announcements.

http://www.investorsobserver.com/freemo DYNAMIC MARKET OPPORTUNITIES A heavy week of economic data ends today, with the picture seemingly looking
good -- at least if you're bullish. Flat inflation and sharply higher consumer
spending numbers came at the same time that the Commerce Department reported a
surprisingly upbeat 3.9% US third quarter GDP rate. This looks more impressive
when you consider that US gasoline prices were climbing steadily higher during
that time -- thus proving the resilience of the American consumer. October's
personal income and spending numbers, both of which beat expectations,
underlines that point. Additionally, US factory orders remained strong in
October, rising for the fifth month. All eyes again turned to the Labor
Department's November job report this morning -- a statement that will once
again set the tone for today's market action. A good number on the heels of
Microsoft's early Christmas gift yesterday - a US$32 billion payout to
shareholders on record on November 15 -- could tame the bear this holiday
season.
