LONDON--Lombard Risk Management PLC (LRM.LN) said Friday that it has appointed Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.LN) executive Alastair Brown as chief executive officer of the company, effective Dec. 1.

The software company also said that Executive Chairman Philip Crawford will return to his non executive chairman role from April next year.

Mr. Brown most recently was head of echannels, global transaction services, at Royal Bank of Scotland.
