Lollytogs. Ltd. Acquires VF Playwear's Healthtex Business
NEW YORK, May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- New York based Lollytogs, Ltd., a leading
supplier of children's apparel announces today that it has acquired the
Healthtex business of VF Playwear, Inc. a subsidiary of VF Corporation . VF
Playwear manufactures and markets children's clothing. Major brands under the
VF Playwear banner that have been acquired by Lollytogs include Healthtex(TM),
HTX(TM) and Our Girl by Healthtex(TM).
The Healthtex brand, which has been marketed since 1921, is one of the most
well known and highly respected national children's wear brands in the United
States. Long recognized for its commitment to high quality, durability and
modern styling, Healthtex brand playwear is available in sizes 0-16 for girls
and boys. HTX, a fashion forward line with surf and skate inspiration, is
available for girls and boys in sizes 4-14.
Lollytogs is best known for its French Toast(TM) brand, and for French Toast
Official School Wear(TM), which is widely recognized as the dominant name in
school uniforms across the country. Akin to the Healthtex philosophy,
Lollytogs has earned its outstanding reputation in the marketplace by
delivering durable, well-styled children's clothing that sells at affordable
prices.
Lollytogs will continue to employ the same strategies that have supported the
ongoing strength of these two companies to ensure the foundation of a bright

Additionally, Lollytogs has acquired rights to Healthtex's Kidproof patented
process, a revolutionary knit fabric treatment that offers exceptional levels
of stain resistance and enhances the original feel of the garment.
Lollytogs has had an ongoing relationship with the VF Corporation since 2002 as
a licensee for the Lee brand in the school uniforms category (Lee School).
More recently, the relationship was expanded as Lollytogs was awarded the
license for the tops category for the Lee and Lee Pipes brands for boys.
Healthtex by Lollytogs product is slated for a holiday 2004 launch. Healthtex
product will be available through the mid-tier and specialty retail channels of
distribution. HTX will be available in department stores.
