LodgeNet Wireless High-Speed Internet and HDTV Solutions to Be Deployed
SIOUX FALLS, S.D., May 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LodgeNet Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ:LNET) today announced that it has signed a multi-year deal with Loews Hotels to deliver a comprehensive HDTV and Broadband Internet connectivity solution to U.S. and Canadian Loews properties. As a part of this agreement, the company has contracted to design, install and manage broadband services to over 8,000 rooms across all 18 Loews hotels, and to provide broadband conference services to over 500,000 sq ft of conference space in these locations. In addition, the company's HDTV platform has been selected as the preferred solution for the Loews chain, providing their properties with a state of the art technology platform and a broad selection of HD programming.

In addition, LodgeNet will provide a customized, flexible solution for in room Broadband Internet access and broadband conferencing that includes customized call center support. Overall, the LodgeNet solution will enable Loews properties to offer a complete, state-of-the-art entertainment and interactive experience to their guests.
