LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The Local Radio Company Plc. said that its
quarter two listeners per week are down slightly to 788,000 from 795,000 in the
last quarter, although total listening hours rose 3 percent.
According to RAJAR figures, total listening hours in the quarter rose to
6.77 million compared to 6.59 million in the first quarter of 2008.
The company runs a network of 21 stations, including Silk FM and Stray FM,
and plans to re-launch Jazz FM soon.
