Lincoln Educational Services Announces Promotion of Scott Shaw as Chief Administrative Officer and Creates Office of CEO

WEST ORANGE, N.J., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (NASDAQ:LINC) ("Lincoln") today announced that Scott Shaw has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer effective November 1, 2007. Mr. Shaw will report to David F. Carney, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Shaw joined the company in 2001, and since then has taken on increasingly more responsibility and most recently served as Executive Vice President. Mr. Shaw's responsibilities will now also include Compliance and Regulatory in addition to Human Resources, Legal and Real Estate while continuing to focus on Strategic Planning and Business Development. Mr. Shaw is a graduate of Duke University and holds an MBA from Wharton. With Mr. Shaw's appointment, the company will also create the Office of CEO which will include Shaun McAlmont, President & COO, Scott Shaw, CAO, and Cesar Ribeiro, SVP & CFO.
