PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Lin TV Corp. said Thursday it has reached a deal
with cable TV operator Comcast Corp. for the retransmission of the company's
broadcast television stations' analog and digital signals.
The agreement covers broadcast television stations owned or operated by Lin
TV in 15 markets, including Albuquerque, N.M.; Buffalo, N.Y.; Grand Rapids,
Mich.; and New Haven, Conn.
Lin TV said it will also work with Comcast to raise awareness of the Feb.
17, 2009 digital broadcast transition in some markets.
