BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - LeCroy Corp. Wednesday said third-quarter
adjusted income rose to $2.1 million, or 17 cents a share, above the mean
estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial of 16 cents a share.
In the same period a year ago, the company posted adjusted income of
$800,000, or 7 cents a share.
Revenue for the Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.-based provider of oscilloscopes and
serial data test products rose 3.1% to $40.6 million from $39.3 million a year
earlier. Analysts, on average, had estimated revenue of $40.8 million.
For fiscal 2008, LeCroy reiterated its revenue guidance of $155 million to
$165 million and its adjusted operating income forecast of $12 million to $17
million. The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial is for
revenue of $162.7 million and earnings of 74 cents a share for 2008.
Shares closed Tuesday at $8.05.
