PHILADELPHIA, April 22, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/
-- Andrew R. Duffy, of Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett &
Bendesky, P.C., is available to discuss with the media the legal,
safety-related issues regarding today's accident in which a worker
was reported seriously injured after falling from the roof of the
newly constructed NFL draft stage on the Benjamin Franklin
Parkway.
Mr. Duffy is part of Robert J.
Mongeluzzi's team of attorneys at SMBB that regularly
represent victims of catastrophic work site accidents, including
construction workers and event spectators. In the case of today's
incident, he said that investigators would be looking to answer
numerous troubling safety-related questions.
"The first question that needs to be answered is whether the
proper life -saving fall protection systems were in place. If
not, somebody failed their sacred responsibility to protect this
worker," said Mr. Duffy. "Falls are the number one
cause of injuries and deaths at construction sites. There is
absolutely no excuse for not having adequate fall protection at
every construction site."
Mr. Duffy is currently representing the victims of last
year's railing collapse at the BB&T Pavilion (Camden, NJ) at the Snoop Dogg High Road Tour
concert, and has represented numerous victims of
construction falls.
