SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Lam Research Corp. late Wednesday
reported third-quarter net earnings of $103.5 million, or 82 cents a share,
versus $164.7 million, on $1.15 a share, a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 30 was $613.8 million versus $650.3
million a year earlier.
Results include post-acquisition earnings from the SEZ Group, now known as
the Spin Clean Division. Most of the post-acquisition revenue is not included in
the current results, Lam said.
Shares of the Fremont, Calif.-based provider of semiconductor processing
equipment closed the regular session up 61 cents at $41.13.
