LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Kryso Resources Plc. said its pretax loss for
the first half widened to $409,000 compared with $315,000 last year.
The mineral exploration and development company with gold and nickel-copper
projects in Tajikistan did not report any revenues for the six months ended June
30 but said its administrative expenses increased to $401,000 compared with
$387,000 last year due to decreased interest revenue from funds on deposit and
an exchange loss due to movements in exchange rates.
Kryso Resources has two projects under development -- Pakrut gold project
and Hukas nickel-copper project -- and said that the amount spent on development
work and capitalised during the six months ended June 30 has doubled to about
$1.73 million compared with the six-month period from January to June 2007.
