Inc. Directors Keith Jackson and
Shannon Brown have been named to
Savoy's 2016 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors.
Savoy Magazine, one of the leading business publications in the
country, has recognized distinguished Black professionals who
contribute their experience and talents to the corporate boards of
leading public companies and major organizations.
Keith Jackson is President of
Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids (P.A.R.K.). In this role, Jackson
leads an organization focused on creating a place where kids have
hope and gain strong values and confidence. After graduating from
the University of Oklahoma and playing
in the National Football League, Jackson founded P.A.R.K. in 1993.
Under Jackson's watchful eye, many kids have been helped and
inspired to reach their potential. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Communications from the University
of Oklahoma.
Shannon Brown is Senior Vice
President, Chief Human Resource and Diversity Officer of FedEx
Express. He is the most senior human resources executive for FedEx
Express, the world's largest express transportation company. Brown
was appointed by Tennessee
Governor Bill Haslam to the
University of Tennessee System Board of
Trustees and to the Advisory Board for Western
Governors University. He also holds board memberships with
the Intermodal Transportation Institute at the University of Denver, LeMoyne-Owen College, Teach for America –
Memphis, the Robert Dole Institute
of Politics at the University of
Kansas, Lausanne Collegiate School, and the Central Board of
the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater
Memphis. He has been featured among Savoy magazine's "Top
100 Most Influential Executives in Corporate America," Black
Enterprise's list of "100 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate
America," and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree from National Louis University in Chicago and a Master of Science degree from
the University of Denver.
