JERSEY CITY, N.J. - August 12,
2016 - KCG Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: KCG) today released trade
volumes for the month of July 2016.
In Market Making, KCG averaged $26.2 billion dollar volume traded,
3.5 billion shares traded, and 3.3 million trades per day in U.S.
equities.
In Global Execution Services:
As for the overall market conditions in July, consolidated U.S.
equity volume averaged $248.4 billion in dollar volume and 6.6
billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the
S&P 500 was 7.5.
In July there were 20 trading days in U.S.
equities and 19.5 days fixed income.
