A federal judge in New York ruled that New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman doesn't have the standing to object to a $115 million settlement for American International Group Inc. (AIG) shareholders, Reuters reported Monday.
Parties to the settlement include former AIG Chief Executive Hank Greenberg.
According to the Reuters report, Mr. Schneiderman believed that a math error made the settlement amount too low.
