NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - JetBlue Airways Corp. Monday said its June
load factor was 83.1%, a decrease of 0.7 points from the 83.8% reported in the
year-ago period.
Traffic for the airline rose 2.3% to 2.3 billion revenue passenger miles
(RPM) while capacity rose 3.2% to 2.77 billion available seat miles (ASM). In
June 2007, the company reported traffic of 2.25 billion RPM and capacity of 2.69
billion ASM.
Shares of JetBlue rose 1.2% to $3.38 on Monday. The stock is down 72% over
the past 52 weeks.
