NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Jamba Inc. Thursday said fourth-quarter
same-store sales increased 3.3% from the same period last year and total revenue
rose 9.6% to $54.5 million.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial is for
fourth-quarter sales of $64 million.
Same-store sales increased 0.5% in fiscal 2007 and revenue increased nearly
18% to $317.1 million, the company said.
Analysts consensus view is for fiscal year revenue of $326 million.
Jamba opened 39 new stores during the quarter and 129 stores throughout the
year, bringing its total number of stores to 707.
Shares of the San Francisco-based smoothie and juice company closed the
regular session at $3.62.
