Richard Elder named SVP/Executive Creative Director

NEW YORK, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading experiential marketing agency Jack Morton Worldwide has named Richard Elder the SVP/Executive Creative Director of its New York office, which provides a full breadth of B2B, internal branding, and consumer experiences for Fortune 500 clients. Richard will be responsible for driving creative vision and overseeing creative development across Jack Morton's extensive client base.

Richard's 20 years of global experience in design and creative direction includes his leadership of creative teams for Nike, Inc. At Nike, he directed multiple disciplines including graphic design, 3-D design, brand identity, retail, consumer events, internal meetings, film and video, photography and product development. A trained graphic designer, Richard started his career at Nike developing display and furniture for the revolutionary Niketown retail concept. In 1996, he was named the company's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Regional Design Director and led the creative vision for a large-scale retail roll-out. He was appointed the Regional Creative Director of Brand Design in 1999 and spent three years building a brand design team servicing Brand Marketing, Retail, Corporate Events, Consumer Events and Internal Communications. From 2001 to 2005, Richard was Nike's Regional Creative Director of Apparel based in Hong Kong, where he oversaw a team responsible for seasonal sport apparel and graphic tee design for the Asia Pacific market. In 2005 he was appointed as Brand and Product Creative Director of Exeter Brands Group, an acquisition of Nike, Inc., with a portfolio of brands including the Starter and Shaq brands for the value market channel.
