Imperial Tobacco Group PLC is hosting an investor and analyst trip to
Casablanca, Morocco today and tomorrow, 1 and 2 July 2009.
The purpose of this event is to provide delegates with more detail on the
Group's operations. Presentations will be made by senior Imperial Tobacco
managers on strategy, the Africa and Middle East region, the Moroccan market,
the Americas region and manufacturing. The trip will also give analysts and
investors the opportunity to meet the wider Imperial Tobacco management team.
Today's presentation materials will be made available on the Company's website
from 4.30pm today. No new material information will be disclosed in the
presentations.
Gareth Davis, Chief Executive, will confirm that trading remains in line with
management expectations.
As previously announced, Imperial Tobacco will be issuing an interim management
statement on Thursday 23 July 2009.
