£500,000 Investment in Trillium Partners Limited
B. P. Marsh & Partners Plc (AIM: BPM), a niche venture capital provider to early
stage financial services businesses, today announces that it has acquired a 25%
equity stake in Trillium Partners Limited ("Trillium") for consideration of
£500,000.
Trillium was founded by Stephen Routledge and Philip Mastriforte in 2004 and is
an independent financial advisory firm in the Media and Information sector.
Since then the company has worked on 19 advisory assignments for 13 clients
covering acquisitions, disposals, mergers and fundraising in that sector.
Trillium's turnover for the year ended 30th September 2007 was £785,000 which
generated pre-tax profits of £446,191.
In addition to B. P. Marsh's equity investment of £500,000, B. P. Marsh has
agreed to provide Trillium with a loan facility of up to £750,000 which will be
used to fund further growth over the next three years.
B. P. Marsh financed the acquisition from existing cash resources. The Company's
Nominee Director appointed to the Board of Trillium will be Brian Marsh OBE.
In addition Baroness Janet Cohen, former Executive Director of Charterhouse Bank
and Non-Executive Director of the London Stock Exchange will be joining the
Board of Trillium as Non-Executive Chairman and Mark Adams, Partner at Pembridge
Partners LLP and Non-Executive Chairman of marketing services group, Loewy, also
joins Trillium as a Non-Executive Director.

career with Willis Faber and Aon, among others, he took an active interest in
the mergers, acquisitions and venture capital business of Marsh McLennan.
Jonathan Newman is the Group Director of Finance and has over 10 years'
experience in the financial services industry. Jonathan advises investee
companies through several non-executive board appointments and evaluates new
investment opportunities.
Robert King is a Director and Group Company Secretary. He joined B.P. Marsh in
May 2003 having started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since joining B.
P. Marsh he has taken on responsibility for the Group's legal, compliance and
secretarial functions and played a key role in the flotation of the Company.
