NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Investment Technology Group Tuesday said its
average U.S. daily trading volume was 175 million shares in August. Total U.S.
trading volume was 3.7 billion shares.
In the year-ago period, the company reported average daily volume of 226
million shares and total U.S. trading volume of 5 billion shares.
Shares of Investment Technology Group closed Monday at $31.07. The stock is
down 35% since the start of the year.
