Indian Rupee Advances To 1-week High Against U.S. Dollar

The Indian rupee strengthened against the U.S. dollar in early deals on Monday following a gain in regional stocks in response to better than expected U.S. employment data last week.

The rupee hit a 1-week high of 55.235 against the greenback with 55.00 seen as the next upside target level.
