BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Incyte Corp. Tuesday said it will announce
further positive clinical results for several of its internally developed
programs, including its JAK inhibitor and 11beta-HSD1 inhibitor programs
The company said it will report, for the first time, positive preliminary
results obtained from an ongoing Phase IIa trial with its lead oral JAK
inhibitor, INCB18424, in rheumatoid arthritis.
Additionally, Incyte will also report further data from the Phase IIa study
in type 2 diabetics, including improvements in six different measures of glucose
control and cardiovascular risk.
Incyte also said it plans to introduce a new metabolic program Tuesday at
the 26th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.
Shares of the Wilmington, Del.-based drug discovery and development company
closed Monday at $9.47.
