MADRID -(Dow Jones)- Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA (IBLA.MC) said Tuesday that it has signed a code share agreement with Brazil's GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA (GOL).
In a press release, Iberia said the agreement would allow customers to buy tickets on Iberia flights from Spain to Brazil that connect with Brazilian domestic flights on GOL.
Iberia operates routes from Madrid to Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
The two airlines are also looking at allowing customers to accrue frequent flier miles on the other carriers' flights, Iberia said.
