SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - ITT Corp. said Thursday it completed its
$56-per-share acquisition of EDO Corp., the New York-based aerospace and defense
company.
The transaction, which included the assumption of debt, is valued at about
$1.7 billion, White Plains, N.Y.-based ITT said.
ITT shares were up about 1.3% at $62.80. EDO's stock was down a penny at
$55.99.
