Howard Goldberg, a 25-year veteran of the IT channel, has been named president of the North American enterprise computing solutions business for Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), effective immediately.

“Howard brings extensive experience across the enterprise data center in the channel, and he has a keen understanding of emerging technologies that are shaping the IT landscape,” said Sean Kerins, president of the global enterprise computing solutions business for Arrow. “Given his strong leadership skills and strategic insight, I have full confidence in his ability to continue to align Arrow’s ECS business in North America to best serve our suppliers and solution providers.”

Goldberg is the former cofounder and CEO of SKYDATA, the first distributor to bring EMC to Canadian resellers. Since joining Arrow in 2006 though the acquisition of SKYDATA, Goldberg has been instrumental in shaping the growth of Arrow’s enterprise storage business across North America. He has served as vice president of sales and business development for the North American enterprise computing solutions business since 2012. Goldberg holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from York University in Toronto and an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
