LONDON -(Dow Jones)- The joint venture between Deutsche Telekom AG (DT) and France Telecom's (FTE.FR) U.K. businesses, T-Mobile UK and Orange UK, respectively, will be signed in the next few hours, T-Mobile UK Managing Director Richard Moat said Thursday.
The 50-50 joint-venture between T-Mobile UK and Orange UK, which will create the U.K.'s largest mobile operator, was first announced Sept. 8.
Moat also told Dow Jones Newswires that Deutsche Telekom is talking to Apple Inc. (AAPL) about selling the iPhone in countries that don't already offer the product.
