Co., Ltd (China Telecom-NYSE: CHA) and IBM (NYSE: IBM) today
announced a partnership to accelerate mobile enterprise adoption
for Chinese organizations. Joint clients will benefit from the IBM
MobileFirst Platform for iOS to build, integrate and secure
made-for-business enterprise apps which will be hosted on China
Telecom's cloud. The partnership builds upon China Telecom and
IBM's work to help businesses implement secure, cost-effective and
scalable cloud-based applications.

As the biggest IDC/cloud computing service provider in
China, China Telecom hosts more
than 70% of the domestic internet content and services. Its
computing capability has reached millions of nuclear physics with
the storage power at the level of EB and exit bandwidth over 10Tb.
China Telecom is deploying nation-wide assets consisting of "8
(regions) + 2 (ultra-large data centers) + x (edge nodes)," which
back up each other. The nodes are interconnected via high-speed
