BUDAPEST (Thomson Financial) - Hungarian drug maker Richter Nyrt said
unconsolidated net profit rose 41.7 percent from a year earlier to 10.18
billions forint in the first quarter of the year.
The result is above the 9.95 billion forints forecast in a poll of 13
analysts by Portfolio.hu.
Hungary's largest drug maker, the company said headline sales rose 5.7
percent to 43.19 billion forints, compared to a forecast of 44.49 billion
forints.
Operating profit grew 5.9 percent to 8.69 billion forints.
