BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals Inc. Tuesday
reported positive preliminary data for its adrenal hormone insulin sensitizer
Triolex in an ongoing 28-day Phase I/II trial in obese insulin-resistant
subjects.
The San Diego-based biotechnology company said the data showed Triolex was
safe and well-tolerated, as well as reduced fasting blood glucose levels and
improved insulin sensitivity.
Hollis-Eden shares closed at $1.65 on Monday.
