SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Hoku Scientific Inc. late Monday said
its Hoku Solar subsidiary has signed a deal with Paradise Beverages Inc., the
Hawaiian distributor for Heineken, Coors and Miller products, to install a
photovoltaic power system at its Oahu facility.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Paradise Beverages has installed Hoku PV power systems at two other Hawaiian
sites and together the three facilities will include 350 kilowatts of PV panels,
Kapolei, Hawaii-based Hoku Scientific said.
Hoku Scientific stock closed the regular session up 64 cents, or around
8.8%, at $7.90 and rose further in after-hours trading.
