HighJump Software, a 3M company, a global leader in providing highly
adaptable, best-of-breed supply chain execution solutions, today
announced that Forrester Research, Inc. recognized HighJump Software as
a leader in the warehouse management system (WMS) industry. Forrester
Research evaluated leading WMS vendors across approximately 50 criteria
for its report: The Forrester Wave: Warehouse Management Systems, Q1
2008, Forrester Research Inc. March 2008.
“HighJump leads in strategy and offers the
most flexible architecture,” wrote Forrester
Research analyst and report author Patrick Connaughton. “Its
strengths include a well-architected and configurable workflow engine, a
laser-focused product strategy, rapid implementation methodology,
excellent versatility, and good support for value-added services.”
Forrester evaluated vendors based on current offering, strategy and
market presence. HighJump Software received the highest score among all
vendors in the overall strategy category, which included an evaluation
of the company’s product strategy and vision,
upgrades, and system integrator partnerships. In the current offering
category, HighJump Software’s configurable
product suite received top marks for features such as inventory
management, receiving, wave planning, and postponement/value-added
services.
“HighJump Software’s
recognition as a leader in the increasingly competitive WMS space is a
testament to the strength of our product suite and business strategy,”
said Joel Levinson, president, HighJump Software. “HighJump
Software’s flexible suite of products
translates into a low total cost of ownership for our clients who are
empowered to quickly and affordably keep up with fast growth and
