MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Fitch Ratings said it withdrew Hanson Finance
PLC's short-term 'F3' rating for its commercial paper programmes.
All amounts outstanding under the programmes have been repaid and the
programmes have been cancelled.
Fitch also affirmed Hanson's senior unsecured rating at 'BBB-' and
HeidelbergCement AG's long-term issuer default rating and senior unsecured
rating at 'BBB-' and short-term IDR at 'F3'. The outlook for HC's long-term IDR
is stable.
German cement maker HeidelbergCement completed the purchase of Hanson for
around 8 bln stg in August.
