HARMAN Advances in China with New Wins and Market Introductions

HARMAN, the premier audio, infotainment and software services
company (NYSE:HAR), continues to make strides in China’s
fast-growing auto market with new business wins and market
roll-outs of infotainment and audio solutions with regional
OEMs.
HARMAN announced today that it has finalized a multi-year
agreement with GAC Fiat to supply several new vehicle models with
HARMAN integrated infotainment systems. In the last nine months,
HARMAN has been awarded more than $300 million in new business with
Chinese automakers.
Additionally, HARMAN is pleased to announce the commercial
introduction of the Geely GC9 flagship sedan featuring HARMAN’s
multimedia/navigation system and premium surround sound audio. This
Bluetooth™-enabled system features an eight-inch high definition
touch screen, highly integrated multimedia and connectivity
solutions, and advanced safety (ADAS) features including a
“birds-eye” 360 degree park-assist view. The Geely GC9 also
includes a HARMAN designed and built premium audio system featuring
Infinity™ Logic7 surround sound. The GC9 is the first to market of
several HARMAN projects that are currently in development for
Geely.
